A local Siwan young man wearing traditional clothing, stands outside the Temple of the Oracle, dedicated to Amun, which was built in the 6th century BC and is one of the most revered oracles in the ancient Mediterranean. The Temple sits in the ruins of Aghurmi village in the Siwa Oasis, Egypt. Alexander the Great consulted the priests of Amun at the Temple of the Oracle in 331 BC.
